The GrowHaus is run by a talented and committed group of individuals that represent the diversity of Denver. As we grow, we are making an effort to hire neighborhood residents and others directly impacted by food injustice.

Coby Gould

Executive Director | coby@thegrowhaus.com

A Denver native, Coby's background is in food activism, facilitation, environmental education and permaculture. He holds a degree in Philosophy with a concentration in Environmental Ethics from The University of Colorado, Boulder.  During his studies, Coby spent time exploring community development and social change with the School for International Training in Cape Town, South Africa; gained training in landscape architecture at The Harvard Graduate School of Design; and earned his Permaculture Design Certificate. Coby has taught Environmental Education and Food Justice to low-income high school youth, and has worked for many years as facilitator and program director for Seeking Common Ground, a local non-profit that brings together Israeli, Palestinian and American youth for dialogue and peacebuilding.

Adam Brock

Director of Operations | adam@thegrowhaus.com 

Adam Brock is a Denver native and a graduate of NYU’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study, with a concentration in Ecological Design. As Director of Operations at the GrowHaus, he is responsible for managing our Farmer-In-Training, Seed to Seed and Hydrofarm programs. Adam is a trained permaculture teacher and has facilitated workshops with numerous local sustainability groups, including Transition Denver, Denver Urban Homesteading, the Denver Botanic Gardens, the Greater Good Project, the Central Rocky Mountain Permaculture Institute, and Green Spaces Colorado.

 

Jill Frasier

Accountant | jill@thegrowhaus.com

Jill's background is in low-income housing and self-sufficiency. She recently became interested in local, controlled environment food production as a way to increase food access, grow healthy individuals and build strong communities while decreasing our carbon footprint. She has a certificate from the University of Arizona in Growing Solutions for Tomorrow: Local Foods and Urban Agriculture, a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services from the University of Northern Colorado and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Colorado, Denver. Jill has worked in accounting for Habitat for Humanity for the last past seven years and is very excited about being on The GrowHaus team!

 

 

Zach Klimko

Hydrofarm Manager | zach@thegrowhaus.com

Zach began his career with business development for Buffalo Supply, Inc. He successfully implemented market and sales strategies in federal hospitals nationwide. After, he began his trip around the world, and as a result gained experience in interpersonal skills, negotiation, and respect. At the Omega Institute in Rhineback, New York, he gained experience in composting and vermiculture. His agriculture experience continued to Circle Fresh Farms in Denver, helping with general plant care, programming of the irrigation system, and inputting and tracking of harvest yield data. In his role as Hydrofarm Manager at The GrowHaus, Zach oversees planting, transplanting and harvesting of 1500 heads of lettuce per week, and mentors two Farmers-In-Training and Elyria-Swansea residents.
